From September 3-5, 2019, the 17th China International Semiconductor Expo (IC China 2019) will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center. The Expo is guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government and co-hosted by China Semiconductor Industry Association, China Electronics Information Industry Development Research Institute and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology.

ASR (Booth No. N4-006I) will make its debut as one of the representatives of local IC manufacturers, bringing its terminal chips, multi-mode data communication chips and IoT chips to show its "chip" strength and embrace the soaring development of 5G and IoT. 

According to the prediction of GSMA, by 2025, 5G networks will cover 40% of the global population, reaching 2.7 billion people, with more than 111 commercial markets covered and more than 1.2 billion 5G connections. Meanwhile, China will become the world's largest 5G market, with more than 400 million 5G connections, accounting for one-third of the global market share.

The Chinese market is expected to reach a massive $10 trillion, or about one-third of the world. The IoT and 5G will soon usher in a booming period, which will also bring huge development opportunities for local IC manufacturers.
